Calculate Number of Days and Future Date until Sales Target

This tool calculates and plots the number of days and the date until sales target. The idea is this: you are selling product x and you want to sell y items. The tool calculates the number of days at the current selling pace you will need to reach your goal and displays the future date. This is a tool for thinking in product sales.

To use it you type in three variables, the number of days since start, the volume of sold items and the sales target in units. You can tag each calculation and add as many calculations as you like to the datagrid. You can plot the calculations by ticking the Plot checkbox.

Demonstration data:

• Demo A: 360 days have passed since the sale of item A started. There are already fifty items sold with a target of 300 items.
• Demo B: 180 days have passed since the sale of item B started. There are already thirty items sold with a target of 200 items.
• Demo C: 440 days have passed since the sale of item C started. There are already 380 items sold with a target of 1200 items.
