You look at the thermometer and see 5 degrees Celsius and then you decide to go outside and suddenly the air is much colder than you expected. This the wind chill effect in action and just like anything else under the sun, it is possible to calculate the chill effect and that is what this calculator does: it calculates the wind chill effect based on the temperature and the wind speed.
The resulting calculation is a wind chill factor that should represent the actual temperature. Using it is easy. You type in the wind velocity in km/h and the temperature in degrees of Celsius and the tool adds the resulting calculation to the datagrid.
You can tag each calculation to make managing the calculations easier. By checking the Plot checkbox, you can see a line chart representing the results in the datagrid.
Demonstration data:
| Wind Velocity | Temperature |
| 5 | -5 |
| 10 | -5 |
| 15 | -5 |
| 20 | -5 |
| 25 | -5 |
