        The conversions performed with the tools on this web site have a shortcoming that was not expected. The shortcoming is Mother Earth in all its glory. While working on the days and years unit converter we learned that the earthquake in Chile on February 27, 2010, shifted the Earth&apos;s axis resulting in shorter days. The change is not significant since it is only 1.26 microseconds, but hopefully we will not experience many such earthquakes in the future. We had planned to measure the year as 365.2425 days, but we have officially changed it to 365.24204 after the measurements on the

        A week as a unit that is very precise. There are exactly seven days in a week and the consensus is that there are fifty-two weeks in a year. However, when dividing the Gregorian year of 365.2425 (365.24204 adjusted with recent Earth axis shift after the Chile earthquake on February 27, 2010) days with fifty-two gives us 7.0238942307692307692307692307692 days on average in a week.
