This tool converts units on the Fahrenheit and Celsius scales. To start using the tool you can type in tags and units into the input fields and after clicking the "Add" button the resulting calculations appear in the data grid. You can sort the rows in the data grid both ascending and descending by clicking the column headers.

Unit facts: One degree on the Fahrenheit scale is -17.2222222 on the Celsius scale. One degree on the Celsius scale is 33.8 on the Fahrenheit scale. A conversion formula is necessary to convert between the two scales.

Demonstration data:

  • Normal heat for the human body is approximately 37.0 degrees on the Celsius scale.
  • The coldest temperature ever recorded on planet Earth is minus 89.2 degrees on the Celsius scale.
  • The hottest temperature ever recorded on planet Earth is 56.7 degrees on the Celsius scale.
  • The average temperature on planet Earth is approximately 13 degrees on the Celsius scale.
  • The heat of the core of the Earth is somewhere between 3400 and 7000 (estimation) degrees on the Celsius scale.

Tip! You can increase the data grid's decimal fractal precision by selecting a digit on the Precision drop down menu. The data grid's default decimal fractals is 2 digits.
